Description

The delicate and showy inside-out flower prefers a semi-shady spot, with dappled light, humus-rich soil and a mulch of fir needles or bark to protect its underground stems. A vigorous ground cover that grows well in moist or drier soils. Use Vancouveria to fill between taller, larger plants. Virtually disease and pest-free and reliably low-maintenance. Grows nicely among huckleberry, ferns and trillium. Attracts insects, bees, butterflies and birds.
