Mountain strawberry is a an edible ground cover with gray-green to bluish-green leaves and delicious, sweet wild strawberries. Spreads by seed, rhizomes, and leafless stolons and quickly makes a complete ground cover. Popular with gophers, deer, squirrels, raccoons and other wildlife. Flowers attract butterflies. Very easy to grow.
