Description

Rusty popcorn flower, also known as foothill snowdrops, is often seen in early spring in huge waves in grasslands and woodlands. Tiny white flowers, just 1/4" across, are white with a tiny yellow throat, clustered at the top of a coiled stem, resembling pieces of popcorn. Attracts bees, moths and butterflies and provides forage for deer, ground squirrels and insects. Drought tolerant, often associated with serpentine or plutonic soils.
