Description Great camas, with its large starry-blue flowers, is easily mistaken for the more common Camassia quamash, which has an overlapping range. Plant bulbs in the fall, 4-6" inches deep and 6" apart. Water well and cover with soil and a 2" layer of mulch. Special value to bees.
