Description

Columbia brome, also known as narrow-flowered or common brome, is an upland grass with a fibrous root system that makes it especially useful for erosion control. It strongly prefers shaded habitats including woodland edges and both conifer and hardwood forest floors. A good forage grass for grazing animals.
