Tall larkspur, also known as Columbian larkspur, is the taller of two delphiniums grown at the Friends of Buford Park Native Plant Nursery. A stately plant with stout hollow stems and long loose racemes of large, lovely deep brilliant blue flowers. Toxic to livestock (known in some circles as cow poison). Attracts insects, bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. |
