Juncus ensifolius - Dagger-Leaf Rush

Description

Dagger-leaf rush, also known as swordleaf or three-stamened rush, grows in large upright clumps. The green dagger shaped leaves are similar to a small iris. Spreads by rhizomes and produces an interesting round seedhead. A nice addition to a pond or wetland.
