Description | Narrow leaf wyethia (mules ears), named for its long leaves, forms permanent spreading colonies with 3" brilliant yellow sunflower blossoms rising on sturdy stems directly from the ground. Attracts a variety of pollinators and is good as a cut flower. A long-lived garden plant that goes summer dormant quickly after blooming ends and dies back to the ground. Water to establish in first season then none in subsequent years. |
